On August 1, 2016, the Feast of our Venerable Mother Macrina, in the Church of St. Onufrius in Lviv, three postulants were accepted into the Novitiate, received their monastic garb, and received their monastic names:
Nadiia Hajnijuk – Sr. Meletiia
Olena Stasyk – Sr. Kateryna
Olena Martynyshyn – Sr. Melaniia
“Lord God, our hope and shelter of all who trust in You! You who have shown us the various paths to salvation through the incarnation of Your Son, Jesus Christ, accept your handmaids, who abandon all their earthly goods and present themselves to you, Lord, as a sacrifice pleasing to You.”
