During the Great Fast on March 25, 2017 novice Viktorija Eršeg professed Temporary Vows for three years in the Vice-Province of Saint Basil and Saint Macrina accepted by Vice-Province Superior Sister Fevronija Rapljenović, OSBM.

The ceremony took place in the monastery chapel of The Holy Cross in Križevci during Divine Liturgy celebrated by Reverend Mykhail Simunovich. In the presence of Reverend Mykhail and the Sisters, Sister Viktorija Eršeg promised God that for the next three years she would live a life of chastity, poverty and obedience in the community of the Order of Sisters of Saint Basil the Great.
“The purpose for the period of temporary profession is to enable a new phase of growth in the Sister’s relationship with the Holy Trinity, wherein she accepts the need to respond more deeply to her call by offering herself to the one who has first loved her.” (Kenotic Way: Constitution, #53)
We wish dear Sr. Viktorija continued growth in recognizing God’s love. May she joyfully live her vows of consecrated chastity, poverty and obedience, always entrusting her life to God, growing in God’s graces and in holiness.
