As each day the Chapter Body began with prayer. Each day a different language group guides the prayers. Today was the Osijek, Croatia group.

The first order of business was sharing our reflections that resulted from the reports of the Provincial Superiors. The Sisters had discussed these in the five language groups (Ukrainian, English, Spanish, Italian and Slovak).

The Basilian Governance Commission presented its report next. Sister Dorothy Ann Busowski and Sister Susan Sisko who were co-directors of the project gave an explanation on power point. The Commission began in 2014; it was convoked by the General Superior, Sister Dia Stasiuk, and her Council as a result of the last General Chapter. Sisters then discussed the next steps in the process in their language groups.

In the afternoon Sisters began working on a synthesis of various topics which arose in these days. They identified five main issues which will form the main themes of this Chapter. Once these were named, each Sister chose which issue she wanted to work further on and joined that group for an initial discussion. Thereafter the Sisters went on to sing Vespers.
