On January 1, 2019, the Feast of St. Basil the Great, in the monastery chapel of the Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great in Curitiba, Brazil, novice Thays Marcela Hamulak professed monastic Temporary Vows of chastity, poverty and obedience in the presence of the Delegature Superior Sister Maria Demetrio.

Present to witness this event were other Sisters of the Delegature, Reverend Father Antonio Royk, OSBM and other guests.

May our gracious Lord guide Sister Thays with His merciful love as she continues on her journey of growth following her monastic call. May God grant her much joy and the courage needed to meet the challenges in becoming a praying, healing and life-giving presence to her community and to God’s people.
