The Canonical Visitation of the Sisters in the Saints Cyril and Methodius Vice-Province was conducted by m. Dia Stasiuk, General Superior and Sister Emanuela Vavrekova, General Councillor, from May 20 (in Bratislava) to May 31, 2016. The Vice-Province has three monastaries located in Secovce (the motherhouse of the Vice Province), Trebisov and Vranov. Two Sisters also serve in the Eparchial Chancery in Bratislava.

The Sisters cherish their prayer life - both liturgical and private. In prayer they draw God’s graces for service in the Church and for the ministries with the faithful. Sisters teach religion in schools, as well as, the German language, prepare children to receive the sacraments of Penance and Eucharist and tend to the parish churches. In Secovce one Sister sews vestments and items needed for the Sisters. Community life has its challenges. The Sisters are aware that community life has many difficulties and, therefore, make efforts to grow in virtue living together in harmony and in God.
The warm, sisterly hospitality provided by m. Helena Simkov, Provincial Superior, the Sister Councillors, and all the Sisters was gratefully experienced by m. Dia and Sr. Emanuela. The openness and desire of the Sisters to live in Christ and to carry the Good News to others was apparent in their daily lives and actions.
