November 24 – December 3, 2015, Mother Dia Stasiuk, General Superior, and Sr. Emanuela Vavrekova, General Councillor, held Canonical Visitation of the Sisters in Poland. Mother Magdalena Szewczyk, Provinical Superior, accompanied them as they visited the convents in Warsaw, Gorlice, and Peremysl.

The Sisters from Pieniezno traveled to Warsaw to meet with Mother Dia and Sister Emanuela. During this Jubilee Year of Divine Mercy, the theme of the Canonical Visitation centered on reflections about receiving God’s blessings and mercy, specifically, remembering our Lord’s invitation to serve Him. Praying with the icon of the “Most Holy Mother of God – the Door of Mercy” the Sisters prayed for strenghtening in the resolve to live the monastic life following the example of our Lady in the Holy Land

At the conclusion of the visitation, M. Dia and Sr. Emanuela thanked the Sisters for the openness and hospitality and encouraged the Sisters to continue on their journey of total self-giving to God, regardless of any difficulties or hardships.
