At the Generalate on Monday, November 19, 2018 the Basilian Sisters of the Preparatory Committee began a working session, which lasted through November 23. Sisters arrived from all corners of the world.

The Chairperson of the Preparatory Committee, Sr. Miriam Claire Kowal came from the USA (Philadelphia), the secretary of the committee Sr. Emanujila Vishka – from Bosnia, where the Sisters from the Croatian Province minister, Sr. Maria Ignat – from Romania, Sr. Ihnatia Havrylyk – from Ukraine. Joining them for the first time was Sr. Monica Jaciuk from Christ the King Province in Argentina. The liaison between the committee and the General Administration is Sr. Nazariya Mykhayliuk

Every day following a spiritual reflection, the Sisters continued their work: setting the daily schedule for the General Chapter, suggesting group and committee members, sorting proposals and completing work on the symbol, theme and motto. The work of the committee was guided by facilitator Frances Heery.
