On December 26, 2018, at the invitation of Most Reverend Dionisio Lachovicz, Apostolic Visitator for Ukrainian Catholics in Italy, the Sisters of St. Basil from the Generalate – Sisters Lydia Anna Sawka, Nazariya Mykhayliuk and Emanuela Vavrekova participated in the annual pilgrimage of Ukrainians in Italy to the Basilica of Saint Peter in Vatican City.
The Hierarchal Divine Liturgy was con-celebrated by three bishops and numerous priests at the altar of the Seat of St. Peter. A choir from the St. Josaphat Parish in Ternopil, Ukraine beautifully sang the responses.
