On March 25, 2019 in the church of Saint Volodymyr in Posadas, Misiones, novice Monica Adriana Barszczuk received her habit and professed her first monastic vows: to live in poverty, chastity and obedience.

For the Basilian Sisters of Christ the King Province in Argentina, this is a great joy – to accept a young sister who said “yes” to Jesus Who calls her. Adriana was born on September 9, 1996 in Misiones. After profession her monastic vows, Sister will join the community of Basilian Sisters at the Saint Joseph monastery in Flores, where she will study theology at the Catholic University of Buenos Aires.
