During the days of June 11-14 and July 3-5, 2020 the Basilian Sisters of Mother of God Province in Prešov, Slovakia held their Provincial Chapter.

On June 4-5, 2020, the chapter sisters elected the Province's leadership for the next five years:

M. Daniela Štefková, OSBM- Provincial Superior;

Sr. Andrea Lopatová, OSBM - Councilor and Provincial Vicar;

Sr. Alžbeta Dacejová, OSBM – Second Provincial Councilor;

Sr. Melánia Legnavská, OSBM – Third Provincial Councilor.

Sr. Dominika Zahorodníková, OSBM – Forth Provincial Councilor.

We pray for God’s generous blessings upon the newly elected members of the administration. May the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our Blessed Mother, our founders Saint Basil the Great and Saint Macrina guide you, dear M. Daniela and Councilors, during your service to your Sisters for the good of Christ’s Church and all of God’s people. May you always have peace and joy in your hearts as you seek to recognize God’s plans and His Holy Will for the Basilian Sisters of the Mother of God Province.
