Day five of the XI General Chapter was begun with matins followed by the Divine Liturgy. The Liturgy was celebrated in Romanian by Fr. Vasile Man, Vice Rector of the Collegio Pio Romeno and the responses were sung by the Sisters from Romania.

The day’s work continued on developing a vision statement by working in small thematic groups in the morning. In the afternoon some of the Proposals that were sent in by the various Provinces were discussed and voted upon. The translators, from English to Ukrainian (and vice versa) as well as Italian to English and then to Ukrainian (and vice versa), were busy the whole day. After several intense and lively discussions on the Proposals covered, the Sisters broke for much needed prayer at Vespers.

In the evening, the Sisters had an opportunity to continue further work on their thematic group work toward the Vision Statement for the Chapter.
