On the evening of January 7, 2019 Sister Mahdalyna Nataliya Repetska, OSBM of the Most Holy Trinity Province in Ukraine was called home to the Lord in the 89th year of her life, having served God in the monastery for 39 years.

According to tradition, on the Feast of Saint Basil the Great, January 1, 2019, the Sisters from the Basilian Generalate were invited by the General Administration of the Basilian Fathers to celebrate this special day.

In the Saint Macrina Delegature monastery in Curitiba, Brazil the Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great held their Delegature Chapter of Elections during January 13 – 14, 2019.

On Friday, February 1, 2019, the eve of the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord, members of consecrated life were invited by Reverend Father Robert Lyseiko, OSBM for a gathering in the Basilica of Saint Sofia. Our Basilian Sisters from the Most Holy Trinity Province in Ukraine minister in a mission community there.

On March 25, 2019 in the church of Saint Volodymyr in Posadas, Misiones, novice Monica Adriana Barszczuk received her habit and professed her first monastic vows: to live in poverty, chastity and obedience.

Elected international delegates of the Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great will be holding their XI General Chapter, July 8 – 19, 2019 St. Josaphat Ukrainian Collegium Rome Italy.

During the Great Fast, Sisters from the Generalate participated in special services of the Way of the Cross (Stations of the Cross). On March 24, 2019 the annual Way of the Cross took place at the Saint Sofia Minor Basilica, where the cross was carried to different stations by various religious organizations, monastic Orders and communities.

The celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord is the most important feast for each Catholic, requiring preparation to enter into the spiritual significance of the event. At the conclusion of a forty-day Great Fast preceding the feast, there is Passion Week with its many special liturgical services.

On Thomas Sunday (according to the Julian calendar) May 5, 2019, Sisters Lydia Anna Sawka, Nazariya Mykhayliuk and Emanuela Vavrekova participated in the Divine Liturgy at the St. Sofia Minor Basilica in Rome.
