On December 14, 2015 M. Daniela Stefkova, OSBM, recently-elected Provincial Superior of the Mother of God Province in Presov, Slovakia, arrived, bringing Sister Emanuela Vavrekova, assisting her move to the Generalate in Rome.
The Annual Pilgrimage of Ukrainians in Italy and Spain took place on December 26, 2015 to St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City, where all entered through the Holy Doors of the Jubilee Year of Mercy. A Hierarchal Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Most Reverend Dionisio Lachovicz and con-celebrated by Most Reverend Ireynej Bilyk and many other clergy.
Clergy, student-seminarians, and Sisters-staff at the Pontifical Collegio Ucraino of St. Giosafat on the Gianicolo visited the Sisters at the Generalate on December 27, 2015 with joyful carolling and good wishes for the Christmas season and the coming New Year.

On October 2, 2016 in the Chruch of Blessed Priest-Martyr Pavlo Gojdych in Sidlusku, Prešov the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil marked a special occasion, which occurred in the presence of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Prešov, Most Reverend Ján Babjak, SJ.
During the days of November 30 to December 2, 2016 the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great in the Saints Cyril and Methodius Vice-Province in Sečovce, Slovakia held their Vice-Provincial Chapter.
October 1, 2016, the Feast of the Patronage of the Mother of God (following the Gregorian calendar) was a momentous day for the Basilian Sisters of the St. Basil and St. Macrina Vice-Province, for all Sisters in the Order of St. Basil, and for the entire Greek Catholic Church in Croatia.
Longing to continue serving God and His people in the community of the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great in The Most Holy Trinity Province (Ukraine), on July 28, 2016, Sr. Havryila Sorochynska renewed her temporary vows for another year.
