There are different gifts but the same Spirit; there are different ministries but the same Lord;
there are different works but the same God who accomplishes all of them in everyone.
1 Cor 12:4
The Holy Spirit has bestowed upon the Church its apostolic mission since the day of Pentecost, and only through the Holy Spirit we can preserve continuity with the Gospel of Christ.
Thus by living the Gospel, we proclaim and reveal Christ's presence to the world. It is because of this relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that service can be offered to others.
No one person has the capacity to receive all spiritual gifts, but the grace of the Holy Spirit is given as He wills. Only together do we accomplish God's purpose in human history.
Gathered together in the name of the Lord and consecrated to him, we are sent forth to announce the Kingdom of God, and to witness the joy and peace of the new life we have received.
Every Sister has the privilege of ministering to the people of God by her prayer, fasting, suffering and service. Each Sister shares in the mission of the Church through a variety of ministries. Each ministry carries with it the mandate of Christ to serve one another in love. Therefore, we respect the variety of ministries, each with its own unique contribution of witnessing to God's presence among us.
Following the example of our holy Father St. Basil, we join in the struggle to relieve the needy and oppressed, the broken and unlearned.
The broad scope of the apostolate includes:
2. Health-related services
3. Pastoral ministry
4. Social work
5. All other apostolic work encompassing the spiritual and corporal works of love.
As religious, we live as a sign of hope in the world. We are aware that we serve within the wider dimention of the world with all its problems.
We are ready for change for the sake of the Gospel and to be open to the signs of the times.
