During the days of September 27 – 29, 2019,

the Basilian Sisters of the Province of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Romania held their Special Provincial Chapter in the monastery of Saint Macrina in Cluj-Napoca for the purpose of electing new Provincial Administration.

The facilitator was Fr. Marius Talos SJ.

The facilitator was Fr. Marius Talos SJ. On September 28, 2019, the chapter sisters elected the Province's leadership for the next five years:

sr. Veridiana Bolfă - Provincial Superior;

sr. Maria Ignat - Councilor and Provincial Vicar;

sr. Marta David – Second Provincial Councilor;

sr. Andrea Axenie – Third Provincial Councilor.

We pray for God’s generous blessings upon the newly elected members of the administration. May the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our Blessed Mother, our founders Saint Basil the Great and Saint Macrina guide you, dear Sister Veridiana and Councilors, during your service to your Sisters for the good of Christ’s Church and all of God’s people. May you always have peace and joy in your hearts as you seek to recognize God’s plans and His Holy Will for the Basilian Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Province.
