On March 18, Mother Marcela Runcan arrived in the United States from Rome for a ten-day visit. Upon her arrival she was warmly welcomed by the Fox Chase community of Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great. She immediately embarked on the main purpose of her visit, which was to oversee the smooth transition of the Basilian Sisters from Middletown, New York to Fox Chase. In addition to meeting with Mother Georgeann, Mother Bernadette and Mother Teresa, Mother Marcela also visited with Mother Marie Rita Zucchetto at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
„You know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance [have its perfect work] so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (James 1, 3-4)
